Washington, D.C. Suzanne McElligott Carbon Energy Research's principal, Suzanne McElligott, has been covering energy issues since 1992. She spent eight years in Hong Kong and Singapore where she analyzed, assessed and reported Asian oil, gas and petrochemical news for companies such as the Reuters news agency and Chemical Week magazine. Back in the U.S., Suzanne reported from Houston, New York and now Washington, D.C. She has extensive experience covering energy and petrochemical commodity markets around the world. As editor of several newsletters with a global scope, she covered both traditional and alternative energy news, carbon mitigation issues, clean coal (carbon capture and storage), gasification, natural gas processing, LNG as well as many other energy sectors. Houston, Texas Tim Richardson Tim has covered global energy issues for more than 30 years on three continents and has extensive experience managing companies in the petrochemical and ship brokering industries. A graduate of the University of Cambridge, Corpus Christi College with a M.A. in Natural Sciences, Tim specialized in geology, which initially gained him positions at S.M.M. Peñarroya, Largentière and St. Salvy, France. Back in the U.K., he launched Platts’ LPGaswire for McGraw Hill before arriving in Houston to build the North American division of ICIS-LOR, (an oil, gas and petrochemical market information service) as managing editor. Additionally, he set up the Tokyo office of ICIS-LOR. Tim then founded Roman Wall Enterprises which manages operations for European petrochemical traders and ship brokers. A talented linguist, Tim speaks French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Greek and Swedish.

New York Gregory D.L. Morris Gregory holds a B.S. in Journalism and Education from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, and began covering energy as associate editor for Platts Oilgram News in 1987 under renowned editor Onic Marashian. Morris then spent 13 years in the ChemicalWeek organization, including 3 ½ years in Houston as Gulf Coast Bureau Chief and another three years running the global markets department. He was named editor and associate publisher of Today’s Refinery when ChemicalWeek bought that title. Today Morris is principal of Enterprise & Industry Historic Research, based in New York. He continues to report for major energy publications including ChemicalWeek and American Oil & Gas Reporter. |
